Can I register with ECSA whilst doing my in-service training before I graduate?

No, you cannot register as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA before graduating from an accredited university or foreign degree recognised in terms of the Washington Accord. You must provide certified proof of your qualifications in order to be considered for registration.

Does ECSA recognise experience obtained outside the Country?

Yes. The supervisors signing off your TERs should be preferably professionally
registered practitioners and should give their qualifications, registration and
professional memberships where possible.
